Tips for your session

 Baby Photos

·         Opt for studio over location for first months

·         Schedule just after nap and feeding

·         Bring bibs to remove just before the shutter clicks

·         Bring props

·         A cute prop is one that shows growth-take to subsequent sessions

·         No more than 2 outfits, babies hate to change

·         Be prepared to have a lot of “sleeping” shots

·         Bring examples of photos you would like to recreate

·         Toasty warm room for naked shots

Seniors
·         Bring a friend- they will help you with your poses and they can carry your outfit change(s). Just be prepared to return the favor

·         Most photographers will let you share your session. It’s fun and saves a little money

·         Think of shooting on location at your school

·         If you are in studio, Bring props that showcase your talents and interests- ie: an instrument, your camera, snowboard, vehicle, sports gear

Family Portraits
      ·         Apply lotion before you go

·         Apply Lip gloss or chap stick

·         Remove glasses early to avoid red marks

·         Groom your fingernails- it will show

·         Schedule around sunrise and sunset for lighting

·         Work around your youngsters schedules. After food and nap.

·         Wear coordinating, not matching outfits

·         Wear solid colors, minimize patterns

·         Women: wear heels

·         Women: turn your body slightly to the side to appear slimmer

·         Bring examples of photos you’d like to recreate
